Legal Recruitment - A Day in the Life of a Legal Recruitment Consultant

My name is Sheila D'Andrea and I am a Legal Recruitment Consultant for Hammond Resources.  I deal with recruitment for Legal Support vacancies, Senior Secretaries and PAs in Edinburgh and the East Coast of Scotland.

My day as a Legal Recruitment Consultant consists of continual contact with Human Resources, Office Managers and Partners within the legal firms, discussing their legal recruitment needs and the type of jobs that they need filled.  The type of support recruitment that Legal clients need filled tend to be Legal Secretaries and PAs within various fields including Litigation, Private Client, Employment Law, Conveyancing and Family Law.

As a Legal Recruitment Consultant I have daily contact with candidates responding to my listed jobs here on RAN Jobs, discussing the type of job that they want, which Law firm they may be most suitable for and interested in working in.  Ideally legal secretaries need to have experience within the specific area required and within the Legal Environment.
