What is the role?
MANAGER - FINANCIAL SERVICES – RISK MANAGEMENT
CONSULTING - AUSTRALIA
Up to $120,000 + additional benefits

Working for a Top International consulting firm your responsibilities as an advisor will include designing, writing, planning and implementing advice for financial service clients;

Key responsibilities of your role will involve;

• Business development
• Credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk management
• Basel II and Solvency II gap analysis and implementation
• Developing risk policies and procedures
• Setting-up and designing risk management function and processes
• Financial modeling
• Selecting IT systems for risk measurement and Basel II
• Pricing techniques (including derivatives and structured products)
• Risk-related services for real estate industry
• RAROC and economic capital computation

Ideal candidate will possess:
• Excellent leadership skills
• 8-10 years' relevant experience with a minimum of four years within a managerial position
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge in the areas of market risk, quantitative risk modeling, Basel II, credit risk
• Masters' degree in Finance, Financial Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Microeconomics, Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering from a reputable university
• A professional qualification degree such as PhD, CFA, FRM, PRMIA would be preferred
• A track record of developing new business opportunities
