Job Description


An exciting new opportunity within this financial services organisation. The successful individual will have responsibility for all underlying projects within the company and would also be responsible for maintaining relationships at various levels with clients, product providers, counterparties and regulators in order to ensure a superior level of service, and may also include other related duties as required from time to time.

Primary Accountabilities:
· Responsible for controlling all projects within the company at Programme level
· Manage a team of project managers and project leads across all projects and clients.
· Set project priorities and create effective resource plan to cover all projects within business.
· Ensure that project status and any issues are reporting to Senior Management on a regular basis.
· Develop a clear understanding of the whole business to ensure that the company has effective internal processes and plans to meet the client’s requirements.
· Create and maintain a consistent and disciplined project methodology within the business ensuring proper planning, measurement and delivery.
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with key representatives of clients’ in order to identify issues and opportunities
· Communicating effectively with clients and other senior staff to ensure that existing client services are performed to a high standard and that client impacting issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively
· Communicating effectively with clients and other senior staff to ensure that ongoing client implementations are performed in line with clearly understood objectives
· Communicate with other staff to discuss business issues of a wider and/or cross-divisional nature

Additional Information (e.g. Qualifications/ Experience/ Line Management Responsibilities etc)
· Degree qualified or equivalent
· Project management experience essential involving responsibility for several simultaneous projects
· Strong leadership ability
· Project management professional qualification desirable
· Confident, and able to take initiative given client- and delivery-focused environment
· Excellent organisational/ administration skills
· Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients
· Familiarity with financial products and markets essential
