Job Description
A challenging opportunity has arisen within the Edinburgh Fund Administration Operation for a highly motivated self starter to fill the role of Internal Controls Officer. The role will encompass all aspects of the Firm’s Risk Management, Control & Compliance policies and related initiatives including inter-alia, the management/reporting of control issues and remediation thereof arising from incidents and inspections of the business. Some support in relation to Business information security will also form part of the role. Specific focus however would be in relation to fund administration process internal controls, working closely with the Head of Operational Control and assisting the business with the development and maintenance of a strong control environment.

Job Background: The successful individual will report to the Head Of Operational Control and will be involved in assisting in the development and maintenance of a strong control environment and ensuring the Edinburgh Business adheres to related Corporate standards and requirements. Specific focus on and daily responsibilities for the internal proactive oversight and management of the error reporting process as well as the management of corrective actions arising from incident, control and process reviews seeing these through to conclusion while reporting progress and issues to Senior Management via timely and meaningful MIS and presentation thereof. Further, the role will include responsibility for aspects of the implementation and on going maintenance of Corporate policy relating to information security.
