Main Responsibilities:
· Deliver the Statutory Reporting service to a number of Unit Trust/OEIC clients.
· Management of Statutory Reporting service delivery for allocated clients. Represent Statutory Reporting in Client / Third Party relationships. Management and development of Statutory Reporting staff. Management of Statutory Reporting operational risk. Management of Statutory Reporting compliance. Keep up to date with technical developments related to specific fund types for allocated clients.
· Control: Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
Key requirements:
· Main point of contact for clients & other third parties such as Auditors & Trustees.
· Responsible for ensuring all procedures adhered to & all client issues resolved satisfactorily, within agreed procedures/guidelines.
· Must have knowledge of investment accounting for Unit Trusts/OEICs, in particular SORP requirements
· Proven man management skills required
