ASA's client is one of the world's leading independent Drilling Contractors and is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Superintendent to be based in it's Aberdeen base.

The successful candidate will have an Engineering degree (MSc, BSc) and has to have sound electronic and IT background. Desirable experience in marine offshore environment and experience with classification of vessels, but not essential. Candidates with the required qualification from other industries will be considered.

Some of the main duties of the role will be approving and negotiating with vendors, participating in preparation of budgets, costs of surveys, modifications and projects. Liaising with the certifiying authorities regarding equipment failures, repairs and renewals. Monitor the status of planned maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment efficiency.
