Draughtsperson

ASA Recruitment's Oil and Gas Client is currently seeking a Design Drafter to join their team in the North of Aberdeen. The Deisgn Drafter is one of the main points of contact between the designers who develop the design parameters based upon the product requirements determined by the sales teams, and the manufacturing plants who make the products in line with the drawings based upon these parameters.

The post holder will be required to perform general drafting duties such as:
Production of Engineering Drawings for use in the manufacture, Assembly and Testing of products using CAD systems
Participation in project groups in relation to drawing and administration
Archive, update and generally maintain Drawing files
Preparation of Test Procedures
Attending Design Reviews (as appropriate)

The successful candidate must have proven experience in a Design/Drawing office and have good knowledge of ProE, AutoCAD, Genius and/or SDRC system packages.
