Regulatory Risk Consultant / Manager

Based in Edinburgh city Centre, a solid Regulatory Risk Consulting role has arisen with a High St bank.

With a background in banking and financial services, it is envisaged the successful applicant will have come from a background in generic compliance.

The role will focus on:
*Identifying emerging risk resulting from operational, regulatory and legislative changes
*Reporting to the various stakeholders in the business on the resulting effects of operational, regulatory and legislative changes within the operating environment
*Develop and manage group legal and risk compliance plans

Requirements:
*Solid understanding of retail and corporate banking products
*Previous experience at a senior level in a compliance capacity within banking
*Confidently present as a subject matter expert in the area's of risk and compliance
*Previous change management / procedure implementation experience



Most likely starting in the new year, the potential exists for this to be offered as a part time position, should this be desirable to the successful applicant. Salary on offer is circa £50k p.a pending skills and experience.
