Financial Analyst

ASA's Dyce based oil and gas client have an immediate need for a financial analyst.

The position includes providing financial support in the areas of general accounting, planning, financial analysis and financial reporting for the Africa Region of the company.

-Will prepare, review and analyze accounting data to ensure accurate, timely and reliable reporting of financial results.
-Is a business partner with the Africa Area Operations Manager.
-Will also support various projects for operations, compliance and finance as required.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

-Excellent analytical and communication skills.
-Operations accounting, planning and reporting experience a plus.
-International foreign currency experience a plus.
-Must possess a strong sense of commitment and ability to meet deadlines.

EDUCATION

-Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent.
-CA qualification

EXPERIENCE
-Working knowledge of Hyperion and SAP
-Must be familiar with US generally accepted accounting principles and have a good sense of internal controls
-Extensive proven experience
