Senior Manager

ASA International's client is seeking Senior Managers and Managers to join a new and expanding team in their Edinburgh office.
You will be working within the Financial Services practice and your role will be:

Responsible for a small portfolio of external audit clients across a variety of Financial Services disciplines, and in particular:

· Manage key client relationships and expectations

· Manage staff, planning, budgeting and billing

· Be able to negotiate fees with clients when required

· Co-determine with the team the audit strategy and risk assessment

· Ensure team manages the delivery of all audit and advisory services to complex/challenging clients

· Win work by proactively managing existing clients and targeting new audit and non-audit clients

· Effective risk appraisal of all work targeted and undertaken

· Lead the development of future client service leaders at all levels· Own personal development through development plan

· Significant involvement in developing and delivering all services to clients

· Ensure compliance with internal (methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements

· Deliver services in accordance with the principles of the Client Service Framework

· Actively/proactively liaise with all relevant service lines and business units

· Manage the capture and sharing of knowledge from assignments

· Lead internal projects

· Recruit, counsel, coach and mentor staff

As this role will be key to delivering the Financial Services audit strategy it will therefore involve influencing at the highest levels both internally and externally. You must therefore have experience in liaising with individuals at both junior and senior levels.
The role will involve a high degree of liasion between various groups of busy professionals,you will therefore be able to manage the expectations of a diverse group of people and will display strong credibility and, working across all levels within the organisation.

You will be an extremely effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to build bridges and harmonise divergent interests and priorities, and be able to build effective working relationships.

You will also possess the highest level of written and oral communications skills and have the ability to explain the technical to the non-technical, to extrapolate the "message" from the numbers, and be client focused and computer literate.
